Cob Bench

This bench is located in SW Portland, Oregon. It was born soon after the Natural Building Convergence in 2002. It is intended to give people a place to take a rest on the way up a very large hill.
There is a papercrete seat on it to keep your butt from getting all dirty. The green stained glass was built in place. All the clay and rock came from the surrounding area.
